Youth Empowerment Programs

Our program features a cadre of experienced young interns who possess the skills and training necessary to serve as Global Ambassadors for World Youth Initiatives in international communities. This innovative global ambassador project aims to enhance understanding of culture and society while participants engage in meaningful community service through an assigned local project. The five key missions focus on critical areas: healthcare program, poverty alleviation, hunger education, and faith-based initiatives, all contributing to youth development and leadership training.

Get connected with our GAP Ambassadors through the Global Ambassador Project, which includes missionaries, mission education, and mission travel opportunities. This program is designed to help people understand the political, economic, and social context of the world in which the church is called to serve. Each short-term mission trip is individually crafted to promote community service and youth development. Following leadership training, participants are assigned several outreach community activities, including our healthcare program.

This comprehensive, multi-disciplinary empowerment program for at-risk, low-income youth focuses on youth development through various learning opportunities. The program incorporates a healthcare program, leadership training, and community service initiatives, aiming to foster personal growth, education, and exploration. It also seeks to intervene with today’s economically at-risk youth, who will soon become tomorrow's mothers and fathers. By utilizing primary and secondary prevention strategies, the initiative aims to disrupt the inter-generational cycle of economic dependency, low self-esteem, lack of education, and poor health profiles, ultimately ensuring a brighter future for them and their children through the Global Ambassador Project.

An innovative facilitator-based curriculum that incorporates a unique group facilitation process to develop skill-building training for community service initiatives. Participants discover the characteristics that motivate different personality styles and their impact on being an effective leader in various contexts, including healthcare programs and the global ambassador project. The program also provides activities designed to promote leadership qualities and enhance leadership training, which are inextricably linked to activities that support youth development and boost self-esteem.

The program aims to establish an enterprise training and business development initiative that supports young entrepreneurs in operating viable businesses. This initiative focuses on growth sectors such as cultural industries, media, and information services. Additionally, as part of the global ambassador project, the program seeks to provide young people with essential IT skills that enhance business productivity and competitiveness, contributing to overall youth development and leadership training. Moreover, it aligns with community service efforts and includes aspects of a healthcare program to further support young entrepreneurs.

A program where tens of thousands of American youngsters rely on federally funded breakfasts and school lunches to survive, serving as their only source of nutrition. The World Youth Alliance, through its community service initiatives and in collaboration with the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), has stepped in to fill this gap by providing Nutritional Food Service programs alongside World Youth's academic and recreational summer camps. This effort not only addresses immediate hunger but also supports youth development and includes elements of leadership training, part of their broader global ambassador project aimed at fostering a healthier future for all.
